Terms and Conditions of Sales
- Payment
- Payment options include cash, cashiers check, or PayPal (which allows for the use of a credit card), in advance.
- Payments made through PayPal shall incur a service fee.
- Total payment amount shall be confirmed by invoice which will be delivered to the customer via e-mail.
- Shipping
- Goods are located in the Greater Cincinnati area.
The Customer may arrange for pickup, Andy Schroder may agree to
deliver the goods, or the goods may be shipped via a freight carrier.
- The Customer is responsible for shipping, crating,
and insurance charges which are in affect at the time of purchase.
Charges shall be determined by the components purchased, the means of
shipping, location of final destination, and other associated shipping
costs.
- If
a freight carrier is utilized Andy Schroder reserves the right
to choose this carrier. Reasonable effort will be made to meet Customer
requests.
- If goods are delivered via a freight carrier, a forklift must be available at the delivery destination.
- Customer is responsible for inspecting goods upon
receipt. If damages are found they must be supported by sufficient
evidence for Andy Schroder's reference and addressed with Andy Schroder within 7 days of receiving the goods.
- Disclaimer
- Andy Schroder is not responsible for improper installation of the solar collectors.
- Failure to securely mount the solar collector can result in damage and injury in the event of high winds.
- Failure to install pressure relief valves and/or design the system to handle surplus thermal energy collection could cause severe damage and injury.
- CPC1512/CPC1518 solar thermal collectors have been tested according to EN 12975-2:2006 and received the Solar Keymark from Din Certco. Customer understands that manufacturing variations could cause collectors not to perform exactly as these official test reports have published. Please note: these solar collectors are not SRCC certified and do not qualify for residential tax credits. Please see "Technical Description of Solar Collector Efficiency" for further details regarding solar collector efficiency.
- Receipt of payment indicates agreement to these terms.
- Limited Warranty
- Andy Schroder will warrant solar collectors for a period of two years from the date of sale against manufacturing defects. Andy Schroder will repair or replace defective components, and these repairs or replacements may contain new or used components. Warranty does not cover damage due to improper installation or misuse of the collectors.
Warranty does not cover accidental (including, but not limited to freezing damage and fallen tree damage) damages of the collector. Shipping charges for replacement components are not covered by this warranty.
